aicost.tools

aicost.tools · 0.7 s

Security & access 5/6 passed

Security headers Warning Missing: Strict-Transport-Security, Frame protection.

A few response headers protect visitors from common attacks like clickjacking and protocol downgrades.

How to fix: Add these headers to your web server or CDN: Strict-Transport-Security: max-age=31536000, X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff, X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN, Referrer-Policy: strict-origin-when-cross-origin.

HTTPS Pass https://aicost.tools loads over a secure connection.

Browsers mark sites without HTTPS as “Not secure”, and Google prefers secure pages.

Reachable Pass https://aicost.tools answered HTTP 200 in 0.4 s.

The homepage must answer quickly with a normal page so people and search engines can see it.

HTTPS redirect Pass http://aicost.tools redirects to https://aicost.tools.

Visitors and old links that use http:// should land on the secure https:// version.

One host Pass Both aicost.tools and www.aicost.tools end on aicost.tools.

The site with and without www should end on the same address, so links and ranking signals aren’t split in two.

Mixed content Pass Every image, script and stylesheet loads over https.

An https page that loads images or scripts over http:// gets warnings or broken parts in browsers.

Search engines 8/8 passed

Indexing Pass Search engines are allowed to index the homepage.

If the homepage tells search engines not to index it, it won’t show up in Google.

robots.txt Pass Found, and it lists 1 sitemap.

robots.txt tells search engines what they may crawl and where your sitemap is.

Sitemap Pass Found at https://aicost.tools/sitemap-index.xml (listed in robots.txt).

A sitemap lists your pages so search engines find new and updated ones faster.

Search snippet Pass “LLM API Pricing — Compare Cost Across AI Models · AI//COST”, with a 158-character description.

The title and meta description are what people see in Google’s results before they click.

Canonical Pass Points to https://aicost.tools/.

A canonical link tells search engines which address is the main one, so duplicates don’t compete.

Structured data Pass Found: WebSite, Organization.

Structured data (JSON-LD) helps Google understand the site and can add rich results like site name and FAQs.

Missing pages Pass A made-up address answered HTTP 404.

Pages that don’t exist should answer “404 Not Found”, or Google may index empty pages (“soft 404s”).

Meta refresh Pass No meta refresh.

A meta refresh redirect is slow and confusing for search engines; a server redirect is better.

Domain Rating Info DR 24 (Ahrefs).

Domain Rating (Ahrefs, 0–100) shows how strong the site’s backlinks are compared with the rest of the web.

Sharing & branding 4/4 passed

Share card Pass Title, description and image are set.

Open Graph tags decide the title, text and image shown when someone shares the site on X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Facebook.

Share URL Pass og:url is https://aicost.tools/.

og:url tells social networks the main address of the page, so shares and likes count together.

Site name Pass “AI//COST”.

A site name lets Google and social apps show your brand instead of the bare domain.

Favicon Pass Linked in the page: /favicon.svg.

The small icon shown in browser tabs, bookmarks and Google’s mobile results.

Mobile & speed 6/6 passed

Language Pass <html lang="en">.

The lang attribute tells browsers and screen readers the page’s language, and helps translation and search.

Character set Pass UTF-8.

Declaring UTF-8 makes sure accents, emoji and other languages display correctly.

Viewport Pass content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1".

Without a viewport tag, phones show the desktop layout zoomed out and Google treats the page as not mobile-friendly.

Pinch zoom Pass Visitors can pinch to zoom.

People with poor eyesight need to zoom in; blocking it fails accessibility guidelines.

Compression Pass Sent with Brotli (15 KB sent for 100 KB of HTML).

Compressing pages (gzip or Brotli) makes them several times smaller and faster to load.

Page weight Pass The homepage HTML is 100 KB (15 KB compressed).

Heavy HTML slows down the first view of the page, especially on phones.

Trust & email 3/4 passed

Email authentication Warning SPF found, DMARC missing.

SPF and DMARC records stop others from sending email as your domain, and help your own email reach the inbox.

How to fix: Add a TXT record for aicost.tools: v=spf1 include:<your mail provider> ~all, and a TXT record for _dmarc: v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:you@aicost.tools.

Privacy Pass Linked from the homepage (/privacy/).

A privacy policy is required by law in many countries (GDPR, DPDP) and by Google’s ad and login services.

Contact Pass Found: /about/.

A visible way to contact you builds trust with visitors and with Google’s quality raters.

Mail host Pass Email goes to route1.mx.cloudflare.net, route3.mx.cloudflare.net.

MX records say which server receives email for the domain, so people can email you at it.

What is an SEO audit?

An SEO audit checks the technical basics that decide whether search engines can find, read and trust your website, and how it looks when people find or share it. Most of these are one-time settings in your hosting, CMS or DNS, so fixing them once helps every page.

This audit reads your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap and public DNS records, exactly what Google and any visitor can see. It doesn’t log in, change anything or crawl your whole site.

What to fix first

  1. Anything red under Search engines. A “noindex”, a robots.txt that blocks everything or pages answering the wrong status can keep you out of Google entirely.
  2. HTTPS and redirects. One secure address (https, with or without www, not both) keeps all your links and ranking signals together.
  3. Title, description and share card. They decide what people see in Google and on social media, so they directly affect clicks.
  4. Email authentication. SPF and DMARC protect your domain from being used in phishing and help your own emails reach the inbox.

Beyond the audit

Technical health is the foundation, but rankings also depend on links from other websites. Check your Domain Rating to see how strong your backlinks are, and run a speed test to see how fast your pages load on phones.

SEO Audit FAQ

What does the SEO audit check?

29 things in five groups: security and access (HTTPS, redirects, one host, security headers, mixed content), search engines (indexing, robots.txt, sitemap, title and description, canonical, structured data, 404 pages), sharing (share card, site name, favicon), mobile and speed (viewport, zoom, language, compression, page weight) and trust (privacy and contact pages, SPF, DMARC and mail host).

Is the SEO audit free?

Yes. Audit any website for free without signing up. Results are kept for a few minutes, so running it again right away shows the same report.

Does it change anything on my website?

No. It only reads your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap and a made-up address (to see how missing pages answer), and looks up your public DNS records, the same things any visitor or search engine can see.

Which pages does it check?

The homepage, plus the site-wide files around it: robots.txt, the sitemap and the favicon. Most of these settings apply to the whole site, so fixing them on the homepage usually fixes every page.

I fixed something. How do I check again?

Wait a few minutes (reports are reused for 10 minutes) and run the audit again. If you use a CDN like Cloudflare, purge its cache first.
